Don’t worry this isn’t turning into a tech blog, but as a dad, church leader and general tech lover, I use my IPhone everyday and there are a handful of apps that have really help streamline my productivity and made life run way smoother. This is a list the apps for productivity and administration I use everyday and how I use them, in random order:
1. Tempus Calendar: When I’m behind my laptop I use google calendar and it syncs so nicely with Tempus. I had been using the companies other calendar app called Calvetica, but found it too cluttered. Tempus is really minimalistic, well designed and exactly what i need in a mobil calendar.
2.Todoist: I started using this app in the new year after becoming frustrated with Google’s Gqueues task management program. Again love the design and flow of how the native app works. This syncs across my mac app, iPhone app, and chrome app.
3. Note from Square Space: By far the best app I have and the one i use most through out the day. Note allows me to jot down quick notes that come to my mind where ever i am and gesture upward and it send it as an email to my account for me to look at or remember later. I love this app! It serves as a net for all the ideas and things i remember on the fly when I’m away from my computer.
4. Chronicle: This bill and payment tracking app allows me to see when i have bills coming up, when they need to be paid and what the next bills are that are on the horizon. I’ve looked for a while for a good app that didn’t have loads of stuff i don’t need to use and this is it. It syncs with the app on my mac as well…plus!
5. Gmail App:Gmail put out a recently designed app for the IPhone and it is miles ahead of its first release! Great features that the mail client that comes on the phone doesn’t include.
